It appears that the color selections shown on the bass section of the MM website do not reflect the changes for 2011 yet.

Is this correct?

Admittedly I didn't go through all 15 models, so perhaps the new finishes are lurking someplace.

No rush... just wondering if what we're seeing reflects current availability or not.

thanks.

I read a post on the skinny string side, and it said Tangerine was available on the Big Al, Bongo, and non classic Stingray.

Tangerine Pearl and Sky Blue will be available on the following:

Guitars:

Axis / Super Sport
Silhouette / Special
Steve Morse (not Y2D)
Albert Lee (not HH model, or BFR)
John Petrucci (not BFR)
Luke (not BFR)

Basses:

Stingray (not Classics)
Sterling (not Classics)
Bongo
Big Al

If you put your browser into "Compatibility Mode" all of the new colours will appear. If you don't do this, it only shows 2 or 3 colour options....at least that's what I found.

I was also wondering if the new colors were on the BONGO web site yet. I guess they are. Sad for us folks that like bolder colors. Three of the few choices are black? The red tangerine one is interesting but would need see it in person, same for the silver.

I guess it is a sign of the economy...........
