Off Topic 2011 Ernie Ball MusicMan Stingray Bass BRAND NEW FROM FACTORY! **RIGHT?!?!?**

Ok - I can't stand it - I've seen this ebay add for the last several days and can't believe there are seven bids on what seems to be a very poor EB Stingray clone.

The finish out seems ok but just off by a bit. The bridge is the first clue.

Is it me? Or is this for real??

you might have a point. That bridge isn't right and the battery compartment isn't right either. No closeup photos......HMMMM!!

The Tuners are too big and no compensated nut, just 4 bolts on the neckplate.

I can't believe E-Bay never pulled the listing. I actually put in a phantom bid for $1500 (there was no way the seller was going to get the money) but the bass was only available in the US and my bid was blocked. If you look at the seller's feedback he was only selling small stuff previously.
