20th anniversary question

i have a 20th anniversary,4str, lined fretless with the flamed maple top. a buddy of mine told me that only about 20 were made in '96. can anyone out there verify that for me?
regardless, the bass is a beauty and plays great but it would be nice to know it's value and if it is as rare as i was told. thanks

How do we really know if you have one if you don't post any photos? I think you should just forget about the collectability of this bass and sell it to me.....cheap ;-)

1250 were made.

They're very nice but not super-rare.

Fretlesses (fretlesi?) are of course going to be less prevalent than fretted versions, but 20 seems a bit on the low side.
