It's amazing to me how two "similar" EBMM guitars can sound so different. The neck and bodies feel just about the same, and they both look pretty awesome. But the sounds I can get out them are completely different.

The Silhouette Special has a real cool blues tone due to the Silent Circuit in the neck pick up. I love using this one for a twangy blues sound with some echo. The bridge pickup is really cool for raw rock songs like Cinammon Girl & Rockin in the Free World. (Yes, I love Neil Young's music).

The 20th however just has a really warm tone that I can't quite get on the SS. I hate to make a Les Paul comparison, but let's say that Zeppelin and Who songs sound really awesome on it.

I am so glad I have both of these as I can't decide which I like better. Long Live the Silo. ;)

Paranoid the 20th sounds fat and sweet, the silo special is gonna sound a bit thinner and strattier but with a pup change you can get the silo special to sound fatter, IE closer to the 20th, I played my modded silo special next to the 20th and they were similiar, the 20th was fatter though no doubt, but jsut a tad -
