OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

ok a few things... yay, i finally got it. I gotta thank Pete for going out of his way to call up UPS and try n see what's up. he didnt have to and my UPS post wasnt any way a distress call to get his help.. he's just cool like that. i have a feeling he's gonna end up with more of my money some day :) LoL

so the guitar... well, first off, it looks something liek this

damn its pretty!!!! i gotta give pete props for saying "you sure you want a rosewood board with the non-scary headstock? id get maple". so ya, maple with the non-matching looks great!!! i love this thing/ prettiest guitar ever.

check out the grain. its like wavy lines going from the bridge towards the neck, then all quilty-flamey-like things (i have no idea what to call it) from hi E to low E.

nope... that's not an upgraded top. the luck of the draw with a "standard" top was on my side this time. im super stoked. this thing is gorgeous!!!

honestly... im not a birdseye nut so i havent even looked to see how the neck looks. i guess i could get up can check it out - but if i get my hands on that axe again ill never finish this post.

so anywho... this thing sounds amazing too! im really, really bad at describing tone but i must say thing guitar IS everything everyone has said it is. i was going to A/B it with my Les Paul cuz i heard some people compare them but I couldnt... I unplugged the Les Paul in like 15 seconds.

honestly this thing is amazing. im a happy guy. id never played a silo before so i was excited to feel the neck. my hands are pretty good at adapting to new necks so i wasnt worried about that at all. I like the neck shape a lot. Its nice and comfortable. not flat, not clubby... its nice.

anywho... ya this thing is dope!

thanks to everyone that got this thing into my hands: The engineering masters at MM, of course Pops n Dudley, Pete for being more than happy to taking my money, tommy for the review that "sold" me, Tristan for those videos he does, the academy... and of course the UPS guy ;)

Speak louder into the microphone, Phatty, because I think you just wrote a commercial for it!

So glad you love it and are enjoying it! A success!

as to the neck... not sure the comparison, but we just did a little OVRDRVN taping at Mitch's place and I plucked his Y2D for a little bit..... man, that neck is enough to make ME sound like I could play the geetar! :D

congrats again on the acquisition. gee-orgeoussss!

Hey Phatty...

Beautfiful axe! Man, I have a lot of remorse for not grabbing one of those 20th's.. but it simply wasn't in the cards. I'm secretly hoping that JP will delay his next model a few more months 'cause I just blew all my scratch on a new house, and next I'll need to furnish all the rooms that I didn't have in my other house!

That's a really unique grain pattern on your 20th. I haven't seen any pics of other 20th's quite like that!

Hey, Phatty.

That's a sweet, sweet 20th. I wouldn't be surprised if EBMM knew the guitar was for you and sent an extra special one to Pete. :D

Very nice axe. The 20th is great, and this one is particulary beautiful.
