OMG that looks AMAZING!!! MusicMan really has to make this a standard colour - I absolutely NEED a Dargie green JP7! Obviously it would be without the way cool Martini glass inlays - the DD is after all a Ltd Ed - but just getting a JP7 in that colour would make me the happiest of happy campers!

Congratulations to all of you who had your heads screwed on straight enough to pull the trigger on these amazing instruments... and to all of my fellow Dargie-less forumites: you are not alone - I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

Cheers

Pablo, think about this, there was only 1 JP7 fully loaded made.

Lonney, no it's kind of like the Blue Dawn.

From all the pics I've seen, especially Namm, the Blue Dawn sparkle looks heaps chunkier than the Dargies ?? (the Dargies look more like a fine metallic finish)

Am I in for a surprise when my JP6 arrives ? Was the Namm lighting giving a false impression ?

Crank up the sparkle chunks ! :)

Oh, GREAT pics by the way!

Is the Sparkle on the Dargies Very Big?

It's pretty much exactly the same as Radiance Red, but it's green. So even though that makes it different, it is still the same. Get it?

I'm gonna love mine!

Glenn, there was one JP 7 regular, and three JP 7 w/piezo ordered.

Yeah, just a kick a man when he's down ;) I know all too well that I'm out of luck with the Dargies... which is why Big Popa has to introduce a green standard colour at summer NAMM! O.k., so maybe asking for Dargie Green is too much (considering the Ltd Ed)... but something along the lines of Dargie Green would work for me as well.

What was SO right about Dargie Green (compared to the few other green guitars out there), is that it isn't a subdued British Racing sort-of-Green, but a balls to the wall bright-ish metallic green. Green people don't want quiet green - they want LOUD GREEN!!!

Here's to hoping for a standard green colour in 2007!

Martini Olive Green is not coming back. It would be a disservice to the spirit and integrity of the whole dargie Delight concept........
I guess I already knew that... Serves me right for not disregarding almost certain financial ruin and getting a DD whilst I had the time.

I'm still hoping for a non-boring green standard colour for 2007. Though that hope might also be futile (concidering the poor sales figures of green guitars in general) it's helping me get through the amazing pics of the first Dargies... We'll see how I hold up when we get to Dargie JPs.

Cheers
