Will the Regular Slinky® (10-13-17-26-36-46) fit the 20th's compensated Nut?

I'm not used to the light gauge that came on the 20th, so I just want to make sure that the nut can take the heavier strings.

I don't see why not.

There's only one way to find out!

I'm sure you'll be fine, as 10's aren't a drastic change at all. You're not going to 13's, or throwing a 70 on the bottom, so I'm pretty sure it will be okay. Might be a little tight at first , but the 10's should wear in just fine.

Thanks fellas! I changed the strings yesterday to a 10-46 set and I like the tone a lot better. Much of my playing tends towards the heavier side so I prefer the percussive feel of heavier strings. I need to adjust the low E's height above the fretboard now since there is a little bit of buzz, but I don't have the proper hex wrench so I'll have to go to the the local hardware store to pic one up. Even after I added the strings, the intonation was still perfect. :)

On another note, I did raise both the bridge and neck humbuckers for a little more output and it's sounding sweet as can be. I have to say that the pickup rings are easy to work with and provide a very stable base for the pups even in the raised position.

I know, I know, pics!
