Do the EBMM SUB1's come with 250K or 500K pots as standard issue? I would assume 500K, but someone mentioned in a harmony-central forum that their SUB1 had 250K pots in it.

I'm trying to get a little more output & treble out of my SUB1, and figured I'd check here before taking the strings & pickguard off to find out for myself... If it's 250K pots, I may be inclined to switch to 500K pots.. however if 500K pots are already in it, then I'll have to... um, turn up the treble on my amp :)

Very odd that they would choose 250K pots on a dual humbucker guitar, when 500K is usually the standard.

Oh well, that's actually good news for me... I'll just have some 500K pots installed instead, that should give me a little more bite...

Pickups are voiced differently for different applications, that's all. 250k's work just fine with most humbuckers.

But yeah ... swapping in larger pots should get ya where ya want to go :D
