I had an '05 PRS CE22 with the McCarty push/pull tone knob and it was incredible! It was basically all humbucker tones with it pushed, and all single coil tones with it pulled. VERY cool. Having a JP with this ability would be mind boggling!

EDIT: I just emailed one of my guitar techs and asked him if he could install a D-Sonic pickup in my JP as well as install a push/pull tone knob. You've got me gassin' for single coil tones out of my JP now!! Thanks a lot. :D

The PASSIVE pots are 500ks, not 10k. The ACTIVE piezo volume pot is probably 25k, but EBMM could tell you for sure.

Don´t get me wrong, you´re quite correct, but within a JP with the piezo it seems as if the magnetic pickups are run through a buffer of the piezo-preamp.
I´ve measured the vol-pot on my Pet 3 days ago and my DMM said 10k...I was confused too but thisis the only reasonable thing to me.

Would be cool if some of the EBMM-techguys can lose a word bout that :)

Who knows! That would be the most versatile guitar in the world then! It is only costing me $20 to install the push/pull on my JP6, so it's pretty cheap when you consider the benefit...
