Ladies and Gentlemen.

It took me a long time because I had 2 priorities to serve: my double glazed windows needed paying, and I have bought my son Marco (he will only have it on Xmas day so he doesn't know that yet, shhh) a left handed Silo in black. Having done all that, now I have just gone and put the phone down having paid in full for my very own 25th Anniversary 5 strings HSS flame top, with rosewood fingerboard, I would have preferred a maple fingerboard but the deal on this bass was soooo good that it would have been crazy to miss.

So now the wait begins!!

But **** yeah I got there in the end. :p

You will love it. I got the 25th 4HSS this week and the more I play it the more I like it. All those tone variations are cool, and the playability is top notch. Build quality is best I've seen.

Congrats, man. And to think, when you first came here, you only had eyes for your SR5 ... look at you now! :D

Yes yes yes already :D my gf bought me the Bongo as a late Xmas present on Jan 10th this year, after hearing me day in day out debating on "should I or shouldn't I until one day she said "Oh *blip* that! if you don't get it yourself I'll get it for you" so she did. The bongo obviously was a shock to the system that awakened the thirst for more. Fast forward to 5 months later and knucklehead bash at the London Music Show where I tried for the first time, a 25th Anni 5 HSS, as soon as I played it, I got infected by the "gotta have it" bug.

Now I am pinching myself as I still don't believe I have gone and bought it.
I am content that during this long wait I still have nothing but the best basses to play, as displayed in my signature lines.

Lucky You! Congrats!

At Friday I'm going to buy a new EB strings for my Sterling 5 HS, and dealer said that have one 25th H model in store (just arrived, 1st in my country), so for the beginning it will be OK to look at it and try to play, but HSS 5 25th is what I would really like to own! ;)

Excellent news!

You will have 3 of the best sounding basses ever made. An incredible little collection that can cause earthquakes and probably see through walls and stuff....

I am really really looking forward to it, BP and Co are bringing out an excellent range of gear, where the emphasys is as much on quality as it is on choice, Zak you are only 18, but I am sure you must have heard what it was like 20+ years ago, the only bass worth having was the Stingray which only came with one pickup, now the choices are: H / HH / HS / piezo / HSS, active / passive + series / parallel. 4, 5 and 6 strings on the Bongo, fretted / fretless / lefties / pau ferro, maple, rosewood and ebony fingerboards. whole r/wood necks!!

Soon the game changer will be deployed, then what? Something better? Of course, it's a good era for EBMM afficionados

As I've said earlier I am still pinching myself in disbelief that I've actually gone ahead and bought it, that was until the order confirmation report came by email an hour ago and now I don't need pinching anymore it's all done and all wheels are in motion... just waiting now, I guess.

WOW I've already got pictures of my new 25th!!!

The dealer was ubercool, I've asked them for some pics, cause I've bought it sight unseen and they sent me some!

Just look at the flames on that top!!!

If the dealer has it and you've paid in full, why the wait GW?
I've read the thread several times trying to figure it out.
None of my business... just curious cause mines on layaway - mandatory wait.
It does look awesome!:)
