BP You've created a moster!

Day 96 in the big "bother" house... (shakingbacon's style :D )

What can I say, 3 months from Dec 21st 2009 since I've got it, and at the same time I immediately fitted new strings (EMBB #2836) because the ones that it came with were "tired" from the trans oceanic travels, and I am still using those same strings 13 weeks or 96 days later. The bass just growls with an infectious bite, the low E and B are obviously a bit dull now, but overall the 4 bands eq controls allow me to to get a clear definitions on every note on the fretboard.

I have decided to run them to the ground on purpose because I feel very much at home the combination of this bass sound with "lived in" strings, so much so that I am afraid fitting new ones might just spoil that warm and cosy sound these ones give.

The 25th is definately the ultimate. WOW You just don't know what you are missing. Sorry if it sounds like a "neener neener" thing but it's not meant to be. This bass is just bliss! Get your hands on a Reflex as soon as they become available, they rawks!

+1

I'm on 43 Days (and also still on the original strings) and can only repete the The Grandes of all Wazoo's observations (Except the B string bit... aint got one of those).

I could probably put shoestrings on my HH 25th and it would still rock! :D
