25th Anniversary Guitar - Rosewood or Maple fretboard?

Geared for those who've ordered one already but open to anyone - What's your preference? How much of it is for looks and how much is it for sound/feel?

Yeah, I like my fretboards having that "contrast" that is sooooooooooo cool. Plus, it gives it that little brightness spark.

It really comes down t wht you prefer, I like both and have both, if I had to choose it would be rosewood on the 25th though.

Maple for me and it will be my choice for #2 EBMM...but the Rosewood is a great choice. good luck with the options. photos required.

It's not a sound thing as my ears aren't that good.
It's strictly the designer in me saying it look better to my eyes.
The larger body on the 25th is mostly the reason. Sorta like a Gretsh or Gibson 335 or something (but way way better!!!!!), typically rosewood.

My Silo Special it is maple, for the snappy 3 single coil tone.

When I order my 25th it will have rosewood.

I have a rosewood fretboard coming with my 25th. Definitely my preference and has nothing to do with looks; it's all feel/sound for me. Having said that, I think the rosewood does look f-i-n-e.
