Just wondering if the piezo option is available on the 25th model? I checked the website but doesn't list anything about a piezo option under the bridge options.

Nope no peizo, trem or hardtail. I so want to check one of these out, the push\pull switch makes me think this thing will sing:)

I was really hoping for a Piezo. That was a must in my next guitar. I still want to try out the 25th and I'm hoping one of my local stores has a few on order :) Keeping my fingers crossed.

The 25th Guitar is perhaps 90% of my ultimate, be all-end all, ideal dream guitar. A couple of years ago I asked if EBMM could do an Axis Sport with a arm bevel, middle single coil pickup and a piezo trem.

They said that they couldn't give me the first two options. I've since given up on my desire for a middle single coil pickup, but I LOVE the ergonomics of the arm bevel on the JP model.

Now they've taken MY idea for the arm bevel on a Axis. (Just kidding.) But with no option of a piezo trem! Oh, the torture!!! I would give up the series/parallel switch for a piezo option. I guess I could just get it and have a luthier/techie here where I live install and piezo trem bridge after the fact, but I'd rather have it come that way from the factory.

That would take me to 95% of my dream guitar. To get it to 100%, I would want it in green. Red's hot, and I look good wearing red. But it would be my dream in red.

So note to the EBMM folks on the board, I would gladly pay just about any extra amount of money to have a 25th Anniversary guitar with maple fingerboard, piezo trem bridge in green!!!!!

Though, it wouldn't be in the personal budget until 4th 2010. (lol)

The 25th is what it is I assume.

We are told it will become a production model next year, so maybe your patience will be rewarded with the options you want then

Andynpeters,

Don't tease me like that!!

Seriously, that would be awesome! A guitarist can dream!! I know we are all in search of that Holy Grail guitar that fits us just right. My Axis Sport was my first taste of getting close to that goal.

Ok, I'll start my saving up for it now. That'll make a great 35th birthday present come March, 2011!

It's just an opinion.....only EBMM employees (or the owner!) can tease you officially......course you could always buy a 25th and a Boss Acoustic Simulator.....

i think piezo its good idea for 25 th, i don't know why it's not aviable. maybe MM wanted to make a good oponent to PRS 513, and made another one switcher. But I'ts enough for me 5-way switch (or 3-way:)), I play very different kind of music in band - rhytm, solo, with distortion and without, and I really need piezo. How do you think can I change it with piezo bridge from Axis SS, and chrome switcher I'll remake myself as piezo switcher?

easier to get yourself an ASS with Piezo. The changes you are thinking of might kill the 25th personality

just my 2cts....

What I'm really wondering is if will be the exact same guitar for 2010 and beyond.
Is the anniversary issue going to be distinct only be colour????
I really hope all the specs. are what it currently is at a minimum.

Think about a PC, you can purchase it today certain features and have excatly same PC next year with more options

but if you wait for the perefct PC you'll wait forever, same for guitars I guess

we call it progress or evolution :p

ASS thats good, but I want 25th, as for me its really fantastic. Personality? Practical abilities increase! It'll be more personality for me, it'll be nice mod I think,
but I asked about bridge - is it the same as in ASS?
