This is my first ebmm and I think it's a good place to start ;)

I've been a warwick guy for the past decade, but after trying a 25th hh-4 at gc I needed a new pair of pants.

I found this guy in maple later that day @ theperfectbass in the exact config I was looking for. After the longest week of my life it finally showed up. The only problem is that shipped here at work, and I'm stuck here for another 4 hours!!)($&* ugh!

Anyways, the obligatory "just showed up" pics:

I already told you this is the best flame job I have seen on a 25th. Now I'm jealous, I MEAN GLAD you buy from TPB like me. Now I have to compete with you, I MEAN WE GET TO SHARE Brandt's top hardware. Hmmmm.... I'm not doing a very good job of welcoming you to the fray. Seriously, good job and great start. Fielden

Oooh that is an especially nice one with particularly sweet flames. Cooler than quilted IMO. Really good pictures aswell - what an entry.

AHHHHH I'm jealous. Welcome.

Welcome! I had been eyeing that one over at TPBs site. One of the most beautiful tops I've ever seen, and in the perfect 25th configuration to boot. Nice!!

You are gonna like better than the Warwick for sure. I sold my Warwick Corvette, bought a 25th 4HSS. Never looking back....

It turns out you're right. It took me about an hour to realize the 25th is twice the bass and ten times the tone (and looks) at nearly the same price as my Warwick Thumb--which now happens to be for sale :D

Without any exaggeration I can honestly say this is the best playing instrument I've ever owned.

And thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Heck of an intro your making around here. The 25th without a doubt is my new #1. I do love my Stingrays and have warmed up to the Big Al quite nice but the 25th is truly the way to go. I am a huge fan of the Monster-truck tone i get from it. JOSH

how 'bout that... another person that starts off with the phrase "first ebmm"... I saw a reply to a post that said "first implies more than one" now ain't that the truth! Sweet score and welcome to the forum - I know there'll be more to come...
