I've been looking a long time for a Silo Special with a birdseye maple neck. Finally one shows up on Ebay and the guy is asking over 2 grand. How far over a fair price is he? Thanks.

Yea that seems to be way over what it should be, unless it is one of the first ones and he knows it, or there is something really SPECIAL about it. Not that the Silos arent special, I got one but in h-s-h configuration. Anyway, can you post the link to the auction or wherever it is, so that we can all see this?

Unfortunately I'm a computer neophyte and haven't yet learned how to post links. This guitar is listed under Musicman Silhouette under Musical Instruments on Ebay. It is a special edition signed by Big Poppa but is it THAT special?

That's the one. Beautiful. I would shell out $1200 but not a penny more.

Nah what makes this guitar special is the fact that it was created for the MIAC (Music Industries Association of Canada). Probably also that it's not in a standard color and the main reason the price is so high is that it is #1 of 30.

Nice guitar, but not worth it in my book.

It's probably worth it to someone, but that someone is probably a Canadian MIAC groupie.
