But guys ... just try finding another one like it somewhere else. :D

I've got a couple of beat to hell antique guitars laying around here, and I'd be more than willing to beat his price by 50 percent if anyone's interested. :p

Of course, he's also got a Daiwa fishing reel that sells for about $60 new listed as "the Rolex of fishing reels."

A piece of **** is a piece of ****.....even if it's unique. Still, it's your $98000 so press that BIN button!

Hehe. Not my $98k. Were I lucky enough to have $98k, I think I could find better ways to spend it -- like a house that's actually big enough for my family. :D

Wonder if he'll up it to $108k next time just to punish us for not buying it at 98?

I absolutely refuse to BIN without seeing a picture of the guitar with a can of Diet Coke in the background

Guys......I think I might just buy it.....I'm scared it'll go up to 118000 if I don't move on it now.

I'm wondering how far he'll go before he gives in. Looks to me like a homemade job. Starrett apparently makes gauges and industrial type stuff. I used to know a guy that worked in a machine shop that was allowed to use the equipment on his own time to build crappy guitars. I'm guessing this is a similar situation, and the guy who built it either used a piece of wood that had the stamp on it or stamped it himself. I'm pretty sure the seller's at least right in saying it's a one of a kind. :D
