400th Post... and... NEW BASS DAY!!!!

I thought I should celebrate my 400th post with a bang...

It finally arrived...

I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Blue Pearl Big Al 5 SSS. It just arrived and I have only played it for a few minutes (Work can't wait) but it sounds and looks incredible. My Initial subjective impressions:

1. It feels more "Compact" than my 25th 5HH when "worn".
2. The neck feels like it's profile is slightly smaller than the 25th. A more flatter D in other words.
3. It does indeed have the © Music Man sound and its all over the place. In the short time I played I thought several of the button selection options sounded very Stingray like.


I would like to personally thank the Grandest of all Wazoos and Mr. SOMB for helping me find the right bass for me.

I have been wanting to try one of these forever! It's on my short list for my next bass. It's just so different than the other EBMM's, and because of that it won't happen if I can't try it first.

Oh, thats easy, let me see... I dont have a Stingray, or a Bongo, or a Classic... Oh and NAMM is only a few months away... I'm sure BP'S crew will give me something else to want.
