40th Anniversary volume pedal

Hello,

I'm confused by the claim that this volume works with passive and active pickups, but lists a 250K pot ?
What is any different than using a VP Jr with a 250 K (rather than a 25 K pot) for active pickups ?

I have Fishman fluence pickups on my strat and use a Boss ES-8 switcher in my rig.

Might be better to email CS, or maybe post on TGP where it would get more traffic. We're gear heads here, but stuff like that flies right over my head.
