Want a newish Stingray?

 kinda . . . thanks Jack, although I prefer
Rays, I already have 2 and need to consolidate further.
(unless it's a tabaccoburst fretless non-match headstock :) )
My SR5 may also go soon. I've found out the expensive
way that I prefer more traditional looks; & I play 4 strings
75% of the time.

Anyone? lets hear some offers on this buttercream . .

I'll give you my legs for it. :) If I had $1000+ right now then i'd take that thing off your hands in a heartbeat. Oh well. Guess i'll have to wait for my time. :(

dead mint, no scratches, just took the stickers off like 3 weeks ago.

and I keep it regularly polished with a good polish cloth....

no chemicals tho, just a nice cloth..

i'm playin it right now, and it's fighting me for dominance. trying to force me to decide if a 5 string would be more beneficial than a fretless....

bongo, joel, bongo

you present quite a persuasive argument, however, my personal dilema was not for a bongo vs stingray, NAY! Mine inner battle was between 5 string and fretless...

I like the fretless, and wish i could do it better, but I usually just end up noodling it.

and the 5 string opens up a lot and have a different feel, I also don't have a bongo.....

fuggit.

gimme the bongo

Cow Keeper

if I join the bongo club, you must provide me with an EBMM custom shop shirt...

it's the law, seriously...

btw, the cowpilot shirts look like those diagrams of the female reproductive system. seriously

Yes, my name is Ken and I'm a gear whore . . guilty as charged.

I think the Bongo sounds great but it doesn't do it for me.
I've figured out through stupid-ass $spending$ that I like my
basses simple and traditional . . with 4 strings and transparent
and/or burst finishes and IMO, Rays, Sterlings, & SR5's sound
just as good and look & feel better (to me - no offense Bongos).

I've also purchased an old nos SRV strat (I'm also a 6-stringer) and
need money to fund it. However, Joel has me on the ropes with
this damn fretless, always wanted one, & it definetley fits my
preferences.

Joel - I'll be in touch with you shortly.
