Hey Tim,

I was big into Zep, my faves are III, IV and PRESENCE

VAN HALEN's 1984 remains one of the best guitar albums ever

And I can't think of another guitarist whose solos are as memorable as BRIAN MAY's!

Damn fine choices

Norm,

I nominate Vista Grande as the Morse song I could listen to on repeat the most of his.

Ghostwind a close second

Vista Grande is my favorite. I found a MIDI backing track for it that is really good. So I play it as part of the NorM show!!!:D Yes, I play Steve Morse songs in public.

All hail steve morse!

I don't even bother trying anymore. Back in the day I copped rock n roll park and a few others. Interesting to note that his dvd shows him playing a really cool part of night meets light in an interview setting. Unbelievable fretboard gymnastics on that one.
I'm always partial to his melodic tunes most, but I eat up all of it.

His book should arrive today. One day we'll have to check out that norm show. Sounds like my kind of guitar playing.
