Well, not a 50th, but my 20th SR5 and another 30th SR4.

The SR5 showed up from Pete perfectly set up, and was even still in tune.

I may have reached the end of the road on the 30ths. I ordered what I think will be the last one today.

I will put up some pics of the 20th soon, and will get a family portrait of the 30ths together when I am in town again for awhile (and after I get some more stands).

Secrest out.

I can appreciate weirdness - I had six Bongos at one point - but you're completely out of my league.

I salute you.

It sounds surprisingly different from other SR5s. Kind of an apples and orange thing for me, though, because I only played my old SR5s through my SWR, and I am mostly using the MarkBass combo now.

It definitely has alot of presence and tremendous mid-range. I like it alot. Again, it is almost too pretty to play. I like the way the top and body are constructed like my like my 20th Silos.

Worth every penny, if you ask me. And Pete is a really nice guy to deal with.

We'll have to compare this weekend, Rex.

Mine is due on Friday, I believe. I've been a little lost without Heinz.

The pics of yours are incredible. It looks like it is on fire.

Unfortunately I am going to be traveling for 5 weeks straight starting on Monday. I haven't figured out what guitar or bass to take with me. Probably something expendable...

Rex, enjoy a mighty fine bass!

BP, I loved the 20th SR5 from the moment I played one at NAMM

Jack, I salute you just because you are Jack, and I want you to enjoy your new bass. PS there is Dallas stuff in the case pocket.

I liked the 20th from the moment I finally got to manhandle one, too - January, at the CLB get-together, while NAMM was still getting everyone's attention. I still smile to myself, thinking that I got to play a little bit with Luke on guitar and John Ferrarro on drums! Not much, but so what? I'll take it!

Pete, I salute you right back, and I still remember how to salute. I thank you in advance for taking good care of me, and I'm a notoriously difficult person.

Ahem.

I like to think that I'll LEAP on the stuff in the case pocket, but I suspect that once I open it up, I'll just go sit in the corner and suck my thumb for a while.
