As a dedicated non-wanker, not to mention my position as President of the Bassists Against Overblown Bass Solos, I am sort of glad that there are no six string Stingrays or Bongos or Sterlings.

I don't know, something about it makes me feel good.

Well, I am a big fan of bass solos, but I'm still in agreeance with Host that I'm glad there aren't any 6 string Bongos, or Stingrays. There aren't any Fender 6 string Jazz Basses, or P Basses, either.

There are plenty of 6 string bass options out there. The new Yamaha John Myung even has a 6 string Humbucker in what appears to be the Stingray Sweet Spot, so there ya go.

I'm not a fan of bass solos, but I'd like to try a six string bongo. Weird, huh?
