Hello! I'm mostly a lurker, hence the low post count. :)

I'm pretty interested in trying these new Cobalt sets, particular on my bottom-of-the-barrel Ibanez 7-string, which I got cheap and mess around with for fun. Even with a pickup change, it always feels like to lower registers, particularly the low B string, are muddy and poorly defined even when brand new. I also seem to get a lot of strange overtones on the low B, depending on the gauge. I've spent hours tweaking and intoning and experimented with gauges from .056 to .066 on the low B and I feel like I'm getting close to finding the sweet spot, but I'm still searching.

Are there any plans for 7-string Cobalt sets, or at least selling Cobalt wound singles in the .059-.064 gauge range? Having watched a lot of theYoutube Cobalt demos and read up on the technology behind them, I really think it could make a big difference in the way my 7-string plays and sounds. I really want to retain a "soft" nickel feel, but get a little bit more of the presence and volume of stainless steel.

Thanks for making a great product!
