My 70s Stingray (black epoxy preamp) has developed a scratchy volume pot. I have changed it with the same value as the orig. Tried two or three quality pots with no luck.
Battery changed of coarse, it sounds more like the is a voltage leak from the rest of the preamp ? any tips ?
