I'm starting a resto of a '79 Sabre bass and need some help or advice locating some hardware and other goodies.

Needed so far:

Bridge (G&L possible retro fit?)

3 bolt micro tilt neck plate

Pick-ups (G&L MFD)

I'm in the same boat as you

have a Sabre project and need the pups and tuners,

i would never start if would know that the pups wore diferent the Stingray's

Schaller still makes tuners for MM basses. Try Basspartsresource.com they are @80.00 USD. I got some and they fit my '79 neck.

For pickups, I'm thinking of trying G&L MFD 4 string. They are available from G&L guitars for @ 120.00 USD each.

i decided to sell my 79Sabre project,the body,bridge and the preamp
