As Pete mentioned in another thread, I try not to live too much of my life on-line and this is still a an MM guitar and not a self help-forum, but is interesting that I saw this post today. And since he asked:

As the most recent clinical trial I was in proved unsuccessful and lead to new disease progression, today I actually had my first of 4 infusions as part of a new clinical trial drug (ipiblimumab) and will be re-scanned in 12 weeks. Last June, my metastatic disease was diagnosed and the doctor (almost under his breath) said 6-12 months. Well I made the 12 and over the past year I've been through brain radiation, 4 rounds of chemo, 12 infusions of a clinical trial anti-body therapy, hip and leg bone radiation, emergency appendectomy, brain surgery, two seizures and now a new anti-body therapy, in addition to the 2+dozen or so tumors invading most of my major organs. I'm guessing I'm just a stubborn bastard and it's gonna take a lot more than this crap to get rid of me.

Thanks again to Spud and to everyone at the forum. And now back to topic congratulating Spud on having way too much free time and posting much love for the AL
