KNOCK KNOCK KNOCk....

This is what woke me up this morning... I arose thinking who the hell is here at 8 30 am, and do i really need to get out of bed to answer the door... Well I got out of bed.. And to my surprise it was the mail man with a giant box covered in more tape than comes on 3 rolls.

I took one look at this box and knew i was gonan have to fight to get my prize out, so i went back to bed... And came back when i had more energy. After 45 minutes fighting with the tape with some box inside. I had my bass in my hands, the finish really is awesome. I remember seeing a picture of it the last time i saw an ernie ball print catalog. Maybe 2001? I wanted one then but couldn't afford it. I couldn;t really afford it now, but thanks to Duarte, and a mutually beneficial trade i am now the proud owner or this Awesome Autumn Redrise Ray. I promise to get better pics up when i recover from opening that box.. but in the meantime this one will have to do.

There's no way I could've gone back to bed with a new axe on my doorstep. Sweet color, will look great under stage lights!

Very nice Erin, did Zack got his new Bongo 5hhp yet?

i have no idea. I mailed it to him 2 days before he shipped this one to me. He shipped this on Wednesday and it arrived monday at 830 am. I mailed mine a week ago today, and i haven't heard one way or the other. I hope it arrive soon.

did you see the amount of tape on this box?

It took me 40 minutes to get the box open, then another 10 to get it out. Duarte must be getting kickbacks from 3m to afford that much tape..

I needed another hour of rest.

autumn redburst is one awesome sparkle finish :)

congrats erin!

and i must say, i dunno who made the best deal of the 2 of you.. one one hand an autumn redburst is rare, whilst the bongo with tri-pickup system should be one mean machine soundwise...
