A case of the Dry Nuts

I'd had three *new out of the box* EB JP's, and they all had really dry nuts, to the point where they sounded like rusty hinges when using the tremelo bar.

This is easily fixed with a bit of Nut Sauce and working the whammy bar of course, I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed these symptoms... I was horrified that my new guitar was broken the first time this happened lol

I would not like to open a new EB and find it has wet nuts.

I usually just beat the snot out of the bar for a few minutes and then any of the squeaking is gone. I let the strings break the nut in.
