A friend asked me to set up & run audio for 2 weeks in August.

He wants to use wireless mics - lavalier for main speaker and headset type mics for skits and singing numbers.

I worked in broadcast t.v. for a good part of the 80's and we hardly used wireless because of the battery life and frankly they wern't that great at the time.

I pretty sure they are better now.

Anyone use wireless mics ?

Any good brands ?

The upscale Sennheiser stuff is really nice. If you have the budget, get their frequency agile UHF stuff. It's rock solid.
