the recording came out OK, I think. but last night after we wrapped up, the original drummer actually showed up at my bass player's appartment looking to "hang" there "for like a while."
apparently he (drummer) had told his roommate he was leaving for good because this Warrant cover band was going to be his ticket to greatness or whatever. his roomie had his girlfriend move in over night and now there's nowhere in the appartment for the drummer to live. their "tour" turned out to actually be 3 shows (the singer didn't bother to tell the band that fact... he thought that "once people see how hard core we are we can book the rest of the tour from the road." --- "hard core?" )
we told him to hit the bricks and that it was clearly the universe punishing him for even considering making a future in a Warrant cover band.
