Michael Berger is Steves new guitar tech. Also a super great guy. Skooots gave him the manuel for Steve's day to day operation and has shown him the ropes.

Michael has come over from the other side of the stage teching for Roger glover.

Tommy,

That is so cool.
I've never met Steve, but you can tell he's a really nice guy by the way he talks in his interviews. Very humble.

Nice story Tommy and real great that you have such a connection with Steve. And I have to agree, Steve as well as Skoots are probably the most down to earth people in the business. Last time I went to see Deep Purple I asked Steve if it was possible to follow the show on stage. His answer: no problem, Skoots will take care of it. And, you know what, he really did, in between the work he has and stuff.

Real great. I've been backstage on multiple DP shows by now and Steve surprises me every time (as well as the rest of the band) in a very posiitve way. The man rocks and so does his signature guitar...

Keep up the good work Tommy and share any information about Steve you may or can. I really dig it.

Gr, Tom.

The way I see it is it's a chance of a lifetime.
You have the rest of your life to make money!
I'm doing what I can to go. I'm going to see if there's some kind of architectural convention or something, that way I can write off the trip!

Since I'll be driving (around 4 hours from me), I can bring a couple of Roland micro cubes for around the hotel. And a couple of guitars. Probably Ernie Balls.
:D
