Hey guys...
Alright, a little history. I play guitar for a Christian church camp for high school youth in Wisconsin. Usually I play drums, but this year they are in need of a guitar player. I used to own two guitars, but financial situations with my family made me sell my other guitar which was non MM. I'm now in a situation in which having two guitars is pretty much completely necessary. The gig is as follows....two worship music sessions throughout the day, each one consisting of at least 8-10 songs. This is NOT your typical Sunday morning church service either....this music is loud, rowdy and a string-breakers nightmare.
My dilemma....I sold my second guitar because I couldn't pay a few bills. I paid those bills once I sold my guitar - for much less then I wanted to get for it mind you, just needed the cash fast - and regret getting rid of the guitar, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Basically, there is NO WAY I can afford another guitar - even if it's a cheapo 200 dollar guitar, which obviously wouldn't hold up to snuff with my JPX when I break a string every day and have to turn to that guitar.
My cry for help - I am looking for a guitar that someone is willing to simply donate, or lend or anything. Like I mentioned earlier, my first guitar is a JPX - I am absolutely not going to turn my nose up at anything - any sort of help would be GREATLY appreciated - but hopefully someone is willing to help me in some way.
I obviously cannot pay now, but if someone is willing to reach a hand out in grace and help a poor (literally) friend out, they will be greatly rewarded in the near future.
Thanks guys - I knew this was the place to turn...I've seen so many extremely generous acts of kindness on this forum. This place must be the last living place on earth with decent human beings a part of it.
