It's cause there's people like me out there will buy anything that JP uses or endorses. Very few artists these days have such a fanatical following like JP. I have no shame. I have the picks, the Dreamscape chorus pedal, and 4 JP guitars lol

Yep - I'm also guilty. Using JP picks on a JP guitar.

I seriously tried to talk myself out of the Majesty because I was trying to tell myself the only reason I wanted it was because it was a JP sig model.

That all ended the day I walked into a GC and they had one there. The moment I picked it up, felt the neck, the balance, the contours, the craftsmanship, it was all over. I knew I had to have one. It was literally everything I was looking for all in one package.

The picks - Same deal. I tried to separate the fan from the guy who was looking for an awesome pick. I tried finding another one with a similar design. Came up dry. Ordered a 6 pack to try them. A few weeks later I bought a 36 pack to stock up.

Sorry for derailing the thread somewhat.

For me, I use whatever suit me well and whatever make me play better and be more inspired. It seems like JP and I have some taste in common lol but i'm not buying something because there is JP's name on it even if he's my favorite guitar player. I have a JP bfr and a SBMM jp70 because they are great guitar that play well and sound well. I did use JP's pick too but I moved to Jazz 2 Ultex (?) 2.0 a few weeks ago. I love trying new stuff and change from time to time.

Pft. Y'all are such dummies. It doesn't even have pickups! What is this? The new Nigel Tufnel model?
