i had the fortune to be at a local concert arranged by the local equivalent to berklee music education. there were 4 bands playing and this band struck me with the fresh sound!
just some percussion for rhythm and the bass carrying the rest. i like it and i hope you too will!
of course he uses the instrument with enough balls to carry the low end alone
