Uncle!!! I give...

After 2 weeks of tweaking my Petrucci it looks like nothing "I" can do will get rid of the fretbuzz problem. I read and re-read the FAQ, taken Jon's advice and still no luck.

Zero relief when following the FAQ directions. Looks like some backbow action going on that I can't fix.

It's on it's way back to SLO for some TLC. I called and got an RMA from Dan who was extremely helpful and so it's off to UPS this afternoon. Let's hope I have better luck than Rush did with his.

While Jon has it I'm going to have him do the neck seal, if it's a humidity problem, then hopefully that will not be an issue in the future.

Alright so I'm probably not even qualified to vacuum Jon's workbench. I won't be quitting my day job any time soon...

Jon da man. He lowered my Luke even lower than factory specs with no buzzing.
:)

I just took my Albert to a shop around here (60 miles away actually) and watched a very reputable guy get rid of some buzzing as he talked me through it. We've had mucho rain and I had put 9's on it instead of 10's...hence the buzzing on low e and a frets 1-12

Maybe I'll be able to try it myself next time. Actually, I'll try it, maybe I'll be able to DO IT.
