Bill i dont know what i was thinking when i ordered my DD Silo, it should have been a no brainer- the AL is the best! and to pass up a chance to get one with a rosewood fretboard,what a freakin idiot i am.

Actually, this is way O.T but has *anyone* out there tried out the Brent Mason Signature model Tele? I really dig the look of that guitar and apparently it has a thick-ass neck which I love... While I love the look of the the AL, something about that axe strikes a chord in me.

Probably a good thing I didn't get a Dargie AL - I would have loaded it with a White Ice PG and Pimento red pickup covers - that would have irked mbgreene to no end!

hehehehe, they rocked pretty good when Steve and I played for Eric Martin. it really is an amazing sounding guitar, the DiMarzio Tone Zone and Virtual P-90s are NUTS!! (should be a standard option IMHO)

How and from whom does one get a case like that?

I think Mitch went to DAT Cases here in Vancouver but unfortunately I believe they're no longer in business. But the two other companies I know of here in BC/Canada are Clydesdale Cases and Calton Cases also, I think Modern migth make ATA hardshells in the US, they're pretty amazing cases as well.

RE CASE: I got the case from Clydesdale in Port Coquitlam they build anything you can think of, I can't remembered what I paid for it but $350 CDN sounds about right, the case is fairly big but if I talk nice to the Airline Check people I rarey get charged for overage (WestJet is great up here). Sometimes I'll strap two Gator cases together and take that but they get beet up after a 100 or so flights and when I take the DARGIES they gotta be safe and that case is really sturdy!!
