A Pair of Sports

Here are my two Sports. I love the HH model but the MM90 is probably my favorite.

Nice! I'm an MM90 fan too. Just occurred to me looking at that photo, my two ALs have the same respective pickups as your Sports - nice compliments, aren't they?

I'm getting guards made for both. Creme for the red one but I am not sure if I want parchment or black for the platinum one.

The Rebel 30 is one of my favorite amps. It covers alot of tonal ranges and I really like the onboard gain. I had the Rebel 30 head and 2X12 cab but the 2X12 combo is smaller and lighter and I like that it has two different speakers. They are a great compliment to Musicman guitars IMO.

I have an Axis Sport MM90 and it's brillant guitar better that the Supert Sport I had in the past with the same pickup.

How are you liking that Candy Red Sport ? It sure does look good sittin' with the rest of your gear ! Don't let the simple look fool ya, those humbuckers sound GOOD with some high gain driving them !!

Nice looking pair of Sports. I like the simplicity of them just like that....no binding, quilt top, or pickguard.

The double black coil humbuckers look nice on the red one. My sunburst Sport is the same way.

I actually prefer zebra pickup but the black buckers still look good in this instance (IMO). I want a sunburst (or whatever that honeyburst color is) MM-90 Sport in a bad way.

You can cover a lot of ground with those bad boys and I agree that Zebra pups would look nicer on the Buckers. But if they sound good thats all that matters.

I have seen a bunch with maple boards but I like rosewood. It seems there were percentage wise way more maple board axis sports than rosewood.
