A plunge into the deep waters.....

...... so, I did it.... something I thought I would NEVER do......

I though tI would NEVER, EVER do this to a MM!!

But... I did!

I dunno how I got myself to do it, but I did it!

I swapped the bridge pickup in my Pet!!!

I put in a DiMarzio Evolution. very nice and runchy... still feeling it out a bit, it's bit bassy, but I did change string gauges too, which was probably not a good Idea to do at this time, unless I d-tuned... I'm going to go back down to 10s and everything should be PERFECT for me... I love the evolution... I love my pet... And the evo has put in the small little something that I feel has been missing from my pet... that little quality you can't quite put your finger on. Oh, man!

Interesting.....I've been considering putting a pair of EVOs in my JP - I always did like the tone of the white Jems.........

Let us know more after you play with it for a while. And don't forget to tell us how it works in the middle position!

Actually,I like the neck pickup... my fav combo is Evo/Air Norton anyway. I'm going to go play it now!

Maybe you'll even see some clips. :D

Yeah, it's a good thing he did that to his guitar or else he'd be in trouble.

Maybe... but that particular law only mentioned Music Man Bass.

Yes I like to repeat stuff, so I sound as smart as that Rocket Scientist above....

And, I was a little "LIT" when I orginally posted this..... :D

4. Honour thy electronics and thy hardware: that thy bass may be pure and not adulterated with "basslines" and other works of Satan.

Jack[/QUOTE]

I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure it say "Bass" a few times in there..

either way, the pup change was a good move...the middle posistion in a traditional "Piezo Accoustic" setting sounds SWEET! I could ALMOST swear it was a piezo, albeit a little weaker.

The bridge sound are SMOKIN'! High output and high gain, baby!! I've hit the jack pot!!!!! Recordings will come tomorrow....
