Just sent this out in the mail to Mrs Koogs. Hope she likes it.

He gets the call
And off he goes
to where he will not say

Leaving Trish
with I suppose
some sleepless nights and stressful days

So do your job
and hurry home
no matter where you are

your wife and child
feel alone
and so does your guitar

I dare you guys to mock this!

Keith,

the title of a Zappa album comes to mind...

"Shut up 'n play yer guitar"

:D :D :D

Last summer, me and koogs got a chance to hang and jam for several hours.
It was a very good time. He even paid me the ultimate compliment in wanting to spend time learning one of my fingerpicking tunes. He also did some beautiful solo work to some other stuff of mine

When my mom passed away in January, Koogs and his wife even sent me a condolence card. Just trying to do something a little special in return.

hey K

loved this..especially compared to your toilet thread.

What is really special is how we can feel the stress and love, and concern with Mrs Koogs and Koogs. The man is dedicated to his job and his family and is one stand up man.
Please lets think the most positive thoughts for the family and Koogs , the sooner he gets back the sooner he can collect the nickels. Not to mention the great commentary!

Tell me about it. That one was intended to shed some light into what interests us, but it didn't exactly work out like I thought.

Ode to El Jardinero

he leaves his gardening tools behind
and shuffles off to work.
he'll check in with the forumites
and 'ban for life' some jerk.

He may replace Koog's shattered neck,
or pimp NorM's Silhouette.
While Morse tweaks Y2D upstairs-
A baritone he'll set.

He stops to chat with Dudley G.
to learn from one so wise
the skills he'll need to get him through
a day in (Re)pairadise

Well, now you know why I have a day job. ;)

thanks, keith

Glad to hear that koogie is changing venues for the 9 to 5. I'm sure his family will sleep a lot better at night. :)

Yeah....the like the idea. My wife understands that my current role of employment has me all over the place, she just doesn't really know what I do sometimes.....hehehe....

She likes the idea of me being home every night and spending my weekends with her and my daughter. The hard part for me will be getting used to being home more so than away....but, I know it is for the better.

Plus, I can learn how to play my guitars and get somewhat better! ;)
