Is there any way we can get rid of a few of those stickies? I don't mean to be a pain in the ass or anything, just acknowledging the fact that half this first page is taken up by stickies.

I also agree, but it's been brought up before and it's been decided to keep them. Maybe some of the less updated/viewed/and locked stickies can go to a special sub forum with posting disabled? It could be the Essential Tidbits Forum or EB Forum Classics or Forum Greatest Hits or something.

how about a "link to important posts" page.. stick that on the first page, and then link to the relevant pages from there.. some pages need to be sticky for the new users, but some are just needed for quick finding. those would be good candidates to put in that post
