My wife has a meeting in Beverly Hills and I have to tag along, trophy husband duty again. So what is there to do out there? I just hope the dress code at the Four Seasons permits bib overalls. Also one of the dinners will have “The Jeeps” performing, anyone know anything about them, the name sounds familiar.

I’ll be in town Oct 1, 2 and 3. I might rent a car and head up to SLO and try to bribe BP into telling what the 25th anniversary mystery bass is. Sometimes being a trophy husband is fun, we’ll see… :D

I recently moved to LA a month ago..not too far from Beverly Hills. Can't really advise on what to do out here..all I do is play bass, drink JD and smoke cigs. Once in a while go out to local clubs to see bands. I moved here for the music scene since there is better chance for an original act here then where I was living before...but this is crack pot central no doubt.

Now what I will warn you about is driving here. It's a little crazy..and I have lived in Manhattan. Put it this why....there is a car dealership near my apt with a big sign out front...."NO LISENCIA, NO PROBLEMO"

I think that says it all.

Hop over to Hollywood , go to Mesa Boogie, cross the street to guitar center. A great way to waste some time.
Funny, I just noticed your last day there (Oct.3) is the day I get there (Los Angles area).

Get in touch with Rex - maybe you two can hang out. He is not too far (mileage wise - time wise might be a different story).

Enjoy.

I was just at GC in LA and make sure you have them show you their vintage room downstairs. Up on the balcony there was a vintage '77 Ray. I almost bought it! :p

Luke is playing in San Juan Capistrano on the 2nd...I weill be there but it is about an hour and a half from beverly hills...He is playing the Canyon Club which is about 40 minutes north of LA on friday

Both shows will be quite special as he has Trevor opening for him.

Sterling that is an incredible offer and only you can come up with stuff like this! Thank you sir, I truly appreciate it.

But, Beth is required to attend the dinners. There are vendors that have paid lots money to have access to Beth and the rest of the group. She told me to go and have fun but BP I just can’t leave her alone. I hope you understand. (But damn I want to go!)

If your travels that afternoon takes you anywhere close to me I'd love to buy you lunch, I owe you and Dudley big! :D

I've got to pay more attention about these trophy husband trips, the hotel is actually the "Beverly Wilshire", that Four Seasons stuff is in the fine print. I'm having lunch in the "Pretty Woman" suite today, there must have been some movie shot there. And there are several movie stars staying here, I don't know who they are but I would be excited if BP were here!

Pretty nice place, they have seats in the elevator and Bud at the bar, I'll survive after all.

Tell us what you wore to lunch today, Chuck. Did your ensemble include Santa shorts and pasties? :D
