a question about the pickups (mm90)

hello guys , its me again asking nooby questions lol

the other day i was at the forum and read a guy who was gettin a pickup cover for his mm90 , and he has the same pickups i had ( obviusly ) but with the same color , and i started to search and found out that on ebay people sells pickup covers, and i wanna know how i do change them?? i can put a metal cover to my pickups??

Changing the covers for mm90's is simple, just a matter of removing the 2 additional screws holding them in place. The issue is finding replacements that are the exact same size. If you replace an MM90 cover for an MM90 cover - no issue. Other manufacturer's covers for their 90's may not have the same specs and therefore not fit right.

These fit the MM90s perfectly. They're plastic, but they look chrome. Killer mod in my opinion.

those are humbucker pckup covers, they definately wont fit..

i bought my chrome covers off ebay and they fit fine..

they may work, if you measure your pickup covers you can see if they will fit as that listing has a measurement chart.

Anyone know if EMG P81 / P85s drop right in to MM90 cavities?

maybe, looks like youd need to drill new holes as the mounting holes are on the outer edges.... not sure about the dimensions though..
