Question A quick question about changing a SUB's pickguard

I am wondering if a standard Stingray pickguard would fit a SUB alright with all the holes lining up fine and the whole guard fitting into place fine. Is this so or would I have to order a specially made one with the correct holes?

Yes, the Music Man pickguards should fit the SUB basses.

Ah thanks! I shall have to have a look for one.

Are there genuine replacement pickguards or would I be looking at third party one? Not that it matters greatly just wondering as sometimes the screw holes and things like that can vary slightly. (problems with a replacement P-bass pickguard fitting an MIM p-bass)

I ordered a stingray one from EBMM through sound control about a year ago. Just contact any dealer and request any of the current colours, they'll get you an official one
