We all know that Pete's somewhat of a mad scientist; this time, though, his experiments seem to have caught up with him. It started yesterday when Pete was tinkering around with one of those new, cheap Chinese amplifiers. Apparently, the capacitors inside weren't your ordinary capacitors and they discharged unexpectedly, leaving him with a faceful of radiation. At first, we didn't think it was anything to worry about, a quick eye-wash later and he was back at it, modding away.

Flash forward to today when he was unpacking an order of MusicMan guitars and UPS dropped off a box of parts for his amp mod that was nearly smashed into oblivion! Pete's rage began to build, the UPS driver beat a hasty retreat. I heard the cry from nearly a mile away. HULK ANGRY! HULK SMASH! Suddenly, it was all over. The only lingering evidence was an emerald structure fused with the power of one of the world's guitar greats!

Pete, congrats man that's excellent. Did you have to part with something to get it?

Pete, glad to see The Hulk has finally arrived. Tell him his older brother (the one with the black pups) says hi! I take it since the film is off the pick guard that he has been adopted by you. Just an awesome guitar!

I'm green with envy! Very cool, sans the sticker... ;-)

It's actually a 3-D magnet!

I will certainly have to let something go, I think the Blue Dawn Silhouette Bass is first on the list.

Nice score, Pete!!!

is this the new #1?

Nope, that's still the JP!

In my second band we play in Eb and occasionally Drop-D (Db) so I have to keep at least one guitar in that tuning at all times. I've been using my Floyd w/ y2d but drop-tuning is a pain even with the D-tuna.

Will do, but this ain't the only one, the other has the film!

...now getting back to the amp mod........you knew darn well that those cap's had a propensity to pop right about the time your head was inserted into the rear of the amp!!! I'm glad you're ok.

UPDATE: Used it at practice last night and it fit like a glove! This one seems a touch brighter than the y2d w/ floyd, and the sustain is fantastic. Gig tomorrow night and hopefully it works well in a live setting, too.

Nice Pete, congrats again. You'll have to have someone shoot a video tomorrow night.
