So I am going to 3 SMB Dregs shows this weekend (yes I am crazy). I was making my maps and reservations when I went to the steve morse websight. There was a review of one of the concerts which included a set list:
The set list for SMB was:

Simple Simon
Vista Grande
Mechanical Frenzy
----------- (Steve's humorous intro)
Highland Wedding
On The Pipe
Collateral Damage
Duets (steve's guitar went out, couldn't finish 'Little Kids')
Night Meets Light
Rising Power
Stressfest

That's just the coolest! All my favorite songs!

I was hoping to go see Mr. Morse in San Fran on the 16th as well. However I was there 2 weeks earlier because no one could come with me this week. I probably should have gone by myself and met up with some of you guys I guess, but than again I had fun 2 weeks back with my girl friend :). I just hope he comes to the East Coast this year. I miss seeing his genius!!!

Well ... I just came back from the show (with Phatty) and I can assure you it's all it's cracked up to be. :D :D :D

Man, can that guy play. And I'm sure I saw smoke coming from Dave Larue's fingers ...

Also cool was when Jeff Watson came up to play Cut To The Chase! (Though it took a while to get the amp workin ...)

Norm, hold on to your hat buddy. It's gonna be a fun ride.

Oh yeah ... no complaints from this guy ;) The AL is out of this world! And the 20th ... well let's say I'm looking forward to this weekend when I can pick it up.

of course, so Arin are you officially a guitar player or bass player these days?

dude i dont know. it actually sucks honestly. im "into" both equally and end up going on streaks where ill play one way more than the other. im not as comfortable or as good on guitar so when i go heads down to practice i get pretty excited when i figure stuff out or get something down cleanly. so currently im on a big guitar streak and am having a ball learning Little Wing. problem is that i play guitar a damn lot now and my bass playing is suffering. no woodshedding there so a bunch of technique and other stuff i was working on has regressed

I picked up our 30th Ray last week and started thumping on it and immediately got a case of GAS... Of course I can't play bass worth anything, but hey - that hasn't stopped me buying gear before! (namely guitars)
