a7x tone

I just wanted to know what I could do to get the closest tone to a7x that I could get using my sub 1 and my vox ad30vt amp... If anyone can help me I would be very happy to get the knowledge that you could help me with...........

Are you talking about a "AX7" pre-amp tube?? (you said A7X).

The VOX AD30VT uses a 12AX7 preamp tube, so anything you play is going to sound like a 12AX7, though that's a really strange way to say it.

Avenged Sevenfold is a pretty good band. The whole ripping off(ripping on?) the bible and making it metal thing is sorta old now, though.
