That's the thing...you can spend thousands of dollars on a rig which either becomes a personal monitor for yourself and your bandmates or it must be able to "fill the room" if you don't have P.A. support.

Yes. This is why it's important to figure out what u like and what u need. I will prolly never have PA or roadies, so I want multiple high quality small to medium size cabs run by flexible amp that SOUND the way I want.

Yeah, that was my logic with the Markbass combo + extension cab. I don't always take everything, but it is all easy to carry. Plus it looks good.
