Did Benji Madden use a Silhouette Special in the same configuration as his Artist Model prior to being bestowed his Artist Model? For instance, it had no inlay on the twelth fret, single hummer and flat black paint, possible textured like the Sub 1s.

Don’t know if this helps. Got this from my EBMM archives. This was from Wild West Guitars in California.

The Greens were clear coated and the blacks were textured right from the factory......Benji Played EBMM before the endorsement....and i do believe he painted it that way himself....played on the warped tour as well i do believe

Yes, it was a pink/fuschia kind of color. His use of Silo Special is what I believe led to the the BM model.
