Help! about my new beefy slinky (yellow color cover)

hi,
I am new here and I am from India....

And I have a doubt ...

Two days ago I bought a new set of strings from Ernie ball...

11's with 22p....

I had some corrosions in the strings (the first 3 strings)...

so my question is ,,,,is it normal for the strings to be coroded...because many say this Ernie ball is the one among the best...help me with this....thanks in advance

Not normal, and the packaging should prevent that happening. I would return the strings to the dealer you bought them from who should replace them under warranty for you.

maybe your fretboard was dirty and caused it to corrode? or you might have exposed it to extreme humidity, i guess India is kind of known for that!
