About the Jason Richardson EBMM signature and EBMM build slots

I wanted to order the Jason Richardson music man signature in Majora Purple and this is what the guitar store said. Does anyone know about how the production of these models work? And is EBMM really out of “build slots” and does it really take that long for slots to open up? This is my first time trying to order a EBMM and I really looked forward to getting this model after saving up for it but I didn’t expect that I might have to possibly wait for 1.5 years which makes me a bit disappointed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look on Reverb, I counted at least 4 new ones in that color and one used-- and a bunch in other finishes too. You could have one in your hands by the end of the week.

The problem is that I live in Singapore and almost none of the sellers on reverb that I saw ship to Singapore. And for the extremely few that do ship here, firstly the cost of shipping makes the final cost of the guitar significantly more expensive than even a new one, and secondly they did not have it in this colour. I believe that if I’m paying this much for a guitar I should at least get the colour that I lIke the most. Thanks for your reply though!

The new ones are dealers I believe and since he is outside the US they can't sell to him.
